The Most Efficient Method To Burn Fat

The combination of weight lifting with cardio exercises at the gym is what I have found to be the most effective at helping me to burn that fat away.

My lean body mass that I have built up definitely shows and I am looking pretty good because of the fact that I have been doing muscle building and fat burning at the same time.

Lots of people want to know if they should be doing their cardio after or before they lift weights at the gym. Let’s discuss what the benefits are for each approach and then I will tell you what I think works the best.

When it comes to doing cardio after lifting weights, these are a few of the reasons people seem to favor this approach. First, this lets them call it a day since their body is feeling pretty vulnerable.

While weight lifting will definitely take some energy out of you, an activity like running will leave you feeling more drained. It’s true that lifting weights also burns calories, but running definitely requires more energy overall.

This is the reason that lots of people like to lift the weights first prior to doing the running at the end of the workout. They also are able to make use of all the strength that they can exert while weight lifting.

On the other side of things, exercising first before strength training has its advantages too. They say that doing this gets your heart rate going for the entire workout, which ends up challenging the body more and helping you to burn even more calories while you lift. This is certainly a strategy to consider if your body’s up for the challenge.

My favorite approach is a combination of the two, and it definitely requires the tolerance for a challenge. Run in short bursts intermittently through your weights workout. This way, you truly get the best of both worlds.
