I adore this song forever I really do. And it is lovely hearing it live and not lip synched like it usually is. Wonderful. It is is in a different key. Not that I’m overly bothered:)

ABBA didn´t lip sync in concert. They played it in G Major. Many bands play high songs lower to make it easier for the singers.

Got it in one. The girls’ voices. Plus, if it was dropped from A to Ab then Benny and the other pianists (even the guitarists) would have an extremely hard time. But A to G is much easier.

the only other reason I can think of is, that they play it lower because it´s harder for the girls singing so high live, so that they don´t have to strain their voices so much.

why not? it does sound a little different. If you play some instrument (for instance piano) and try to play some song in a different key than you usually do, it really is more interesting..because you are not used to it..
